WeirdEST text message ever received!

•September 6, 2008 • Leave a Comment

It goes like this in the 1st message….

Yunk, kua g bli m

kanan tuk by ley

?

I have no idea what or how its suppose to read, I thought witchy-craft somebody wanna put on me…

Then from the same number, another message says;

S0rie, clap n0

at 1st glance, I got the “sorry” but “clap” what?…. When i figured its suppose to read WRONG NUMBER, funnily its intended to be C-lap “SILAP” in Malay ; mistake.

What a mistakeable text message. Only originally MALAYSIAN.

OH btw, the first message meant,

YOU NAK, GUA GI BELI MAKANAN UNTUK BY LEY?

YOU WANT, ME GO BUY FOOD FOR BY LEY? (BY LEY might mean something I still can’t figure)

in Bahasa Malaysia it should mean

KaU hendAK saya perGI BeLI MaKANAN unTUK BY LEY

What an amazing communication evolution!

David Cook- Always be my baby

•July 24, 2008 • Leave a Comment

We were as one babe
For a moment in time
And it seemed everlasting
That you would always be mine

Now you want to be free
So I’m letting you fly
Cause I know in my heart babe
Our love will never die
No!

You’ll always be a part of me
I’m a part of you indefinitely
Girl don’t you know you can’t escape me
Ooh darling cause you’ll always be my baby
And we’ll linger on
Time can’t erase a feeling this strong
No way you’re never gonna shake me
Ooh darling cause you’ll always be my baby

I ain’t gonna cry no
And I won’t beg you to stay
If you’re determined to leave girl
I will not stand in your way
But inevitably you’ll be back again
Cause ya know in your heart babe
Our love will never end no

You’ll always be a part of me
I’m part of you indefinitely
Girl don’t you know you can’t escape me
Ooh darling cause you’ll always be my baby
And we’ll linger on
Time can’t erase a feeling this strong
No way you’re never gonna shake me
Ooh darling cause you’ll always be my baby

I know that you’ll be back girl
When your days and your nights get a little bit colder oooohhh
I know that, you’ll be right back, babe
Ooooh! baby believe me it’s only a matter of time

You’ll always be apart of me
I’m part of you indefinitely
Girl don’t you know you can’t escape me
Ooh darling cause you’ll always be my baby
And we’ll linger on
Time can’t erase a feeling this strong
No way you’re never gonna shake me
Ooh darling cause you’ll always be my my baby….

You’ll always be apart of me (you will always be)
I’m part of you indefinitely
Girl don’t you know you can’t escape me
Ooh darling cause you’ll always be my baby
And we’ll linger on (we will linger on….)
Time can’t erase a feeling this strong
No way you’re never gonna shake me
Ooh darling cause you’ll always be my baby

Always be my baby

Basil Leaf Restaurant- My top dining selection so far…

•July 20, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Basil Leaf, it took me a while to find the place because I overshot the turning into Jalan Sejahtera connecting Jalan Damai. Taking on the road of early Malaysia residential estate, on the hunt for any sign of Basil Leaf was a guessing challenge in semi dimly lit neighborhood. I apparently missed the sign of the restaurant as I am more concerned about the dead-end approaching.

Upon stepping into the entrance, a sense of reluctance struck as it appears to be over-budgeting my anticipated candlelit dinner. Once strolling into the welcoming pave way, it was like accepting and invitation with no point of return. Accompanied by Koi fishes by the pave way and baby bamboo shoots devising the restaurant main area from the entry was suspense making. Being greeted by fellow servers in traditional-ish British India relaxed outfit, provides a calm soothing to the heart treatment since embroiled with nervousness. After being seated outdoor elongated table for two under a grandeur wooden verandah connected to the main one storey bungalow, we were presented with the food and wine list.

Taking it all in at one time, was a whelming experience. Before I could study the offerings, I devoted my time to acquaint the environment, discussing with my fellow dining partner the interior of the roof, the water features, the Thai mini alter across the grassy open spaces, precise lighting on their decorative items and improvisation which we think could fit nicely into the already exciting surrounding.

Finally realizing our objective was to dine, we went into deep WOW-ing of dishes most I have had great expectations of. There was some surprises however when we came to roasted duck meat in selections of entree’s. After long perplexing with the menu, with a little help from our server, we’ve picked out, a wondrous appetizer, with accompanying mains of thick seafood tom yam, roasted duck meat in green curry, fried veggie involving eggplant and tofu, and Thai sauced fried chicken with cashews.

Once we were done with the appetizers, we felt like we’re getting full. Full of satisfaction. The red house pouring was helping our system get in tuned with the music and lighting for the night. Food was amazing beyond description. The chicken dish provides sweetening aroma to the taste buds while the veggie offers something soft to the meal coherently having succulent tender roasted duck meat bathed in contrasting green curry. To top it all, the tom yam was simply augmenting all senses.

It is never complete to visit a restaurant without visiting its washroom. Presentation and mood ought to be kept consistent throughout the whole experience, that includes taking a timeout to touch up the hair or make up. Well, the wash area is as promising as expected.

No billing problem is a good first impression, after all all impression is almost perfect by far. Final toast for the the night and off from our seat of journey through Thai and time. As we take leave, again with companion of the Koi fishes and bamboo trees; it reminds us to return for further expectations.

Therefore, no regrets on my part of visit, go feel for yourself!

Owh what the hell….

My Blog has, I think the least hits over the months, since conception of the blog itself….

Well, undeniably, the blog is as if i stuck a large poster of Dr. Michael Yap on the wall, and talked to him, on and on….. with whatever that has no concern to me or my life….. significantly nor directly…

Some things gotta go to make room for non-chalant blog writing……

Okay… what happened today?… It rained…. since the morning… and still raining… as of now (me writing this)…… A while ago it stopped…. but …… here comes the BUT…. just when i thought i could be safe to be singing again… not ALICIA KEYS- NO ONE… i thought, ALANIS MORRISETTE’s-IRONIC, would be mild, for my enjoyment during my toilet business, the thunder rumbles AGAIN….

Oh well…. got to admit my voice draws attention!……

OH JEssica CHAN dear….. You know how u have asked me b4 abt the gifts u gave me during my birthdays, and how i have somehow found ways to reason my way out of the topic…… It is safe for me to tell you… I found them… and beautifully placed on my study-coffee table….

Princess Jenny, yes indeed getting grounded serves you good cause you got yourself an intern with Parson’s School of design, like Parsons was one of my infatuated dream college to go to…. WHATEVER……

I’d be self proclaimed hypocrite if I were to commit myself to abstinence from foreign labored MIM product/services (including F& B). I live in Bandar Sunway at the moment, rather impossible to avoid transaction or trade with non-foreign-labored product and services; from bell boys at Sunway Hotel, hawker centers, security guards, cashiers, washroom cleaners to janitors.

How then can i send out a message to other Malaysians alike to admonish such acts.
